Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

Edit Renders ("we", "us") is responsible for the personal data processed through editrenders.com and the Edit Renders service. For any privacy question or request, write to marc@marcalzamora.com.

2. What data we collect

  • Demo and contact requests: name, email, company, industry and your message.
  • Referral claims: name, email, role, team size, who you shared Edit Renders with, expected render volume and your referral code.
  • Referral links: if you arrive through someone's link, the code of that link is stored in your browser and sent with any request you make, so we can credit the person who referred you.
  • Accounts (when available): name, email and profile picture from your Google sign-in.
  • Your content: the images, plans, sketches and instructions you upload, and the renders we generate.
  • Payments: handled by Stripe. We receive the payment status and billing details, never your full card number.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and request logs, processed by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To answer demo and contact requests — steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To run the referral programme and pay out rewards — performance of the programme terms you accept (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To provide the service, generate renders and manage your account — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To bill and keep accounting records — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • To keep the service secure and prevent fraud or abuse, including referral fraud — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • To improve our offer using the answers you give in our forms — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing emails unless you have agreed to receive them.

4. Who we share it with

We use trusted providers that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:

  • Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and security.
  • Supabase — database and file storage.
  • Google — sign-in with Google and the Gemini AI models that generate renders from your uploads.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Resend — delivery of emails, including the notifications for your requests.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer is covered by an adequacy decision (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. AI processing of your content

To generate a render, your upload and instructions are sent to Google's Gemini API. We use your content only to provide the service to you and we do not use it to train our own models. Please avoid uploading images that show identifiable people or other personal data.

6. How long we keep it

  • Demo, contact and referral requests: up to 24 months after our last interaction, or longer while a referral reward is pending.
  • Account data and content: while your account is active; deleted when you delete your account, except where the law requires us to keep it.
  • Billing records: for the period required by tax and commercial law.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email marc@marcalzamora.com and we will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority; in Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your data. No system is completely secure, so if you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately.

9. Children

Edit Renders is a professional service and is not intended for anyone under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; if a change is significant, we will tell you by email or on the site.

Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of editrenders.com and the Edit Renders service. By using the site or the service you accept them. If you use Edit Renders on behalf of a company, you accept them on its behalf.

2. Private beta

Edit Renders is in private beta. Access is granted at our discretion, and features, limits and availability may change while we improve the product.

3. Prices and payment

  • Single render: €20 per render, including edits of that render.
  • Studio pack: €149 for 10 renders, including edits, valid for 12 months from purchase.
  • Enterprise: custom terms agreed in writing.
  • Prices are in euros. Applicable taxes are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.
  • Unused renders in a pack expire after 12 months and are not refundable once the pack has been used, except where the law requires otherwise.

4. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase. Because renders are digital content supplied immediately, you lose this right once we start generating a render with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that the right is lost. Unused packs can be withdrawn within 14 days of purchase.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to what you upload. You give us a limited licence to store and process it only to provide the service to you. You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or the law.

6. Generated renders

Subject to these terms and full payment, you may use the renders you generate for personal and commercial purposes. Renders are AI-generated visualizations: they may contain inaccuracies, are indicative only and are not construction documents or exact representations of products. Similar outputs may be generated for other users.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Edit Renders to create unlawful, misleading or infringing content, to misrepresent the condition of a property to buyers, to attempt to access systems or data without authorisation, or to overload or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend access in case of misuse.

8. Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available and accurate but provide it "as is" during the beta. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Ending the service

You can stop using Edit Renders at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms, giving notice where reasonable.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and can bring claims in the courts of your domicile.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions: marc@marcalzamora.com.

Referral Programme ("Share it and get €100")

  1. Anyone aged 18 or over can take part by sharing their personal referral link from editrenders.com.
  2. You earn a €100 reward, paid as a credit of 5 single renders, when a new customer who arrived through your link makes their first paid purchase within 90 days of first visiting through it.
  3. To receive the reward you must submit the claim form with a valid email address. We review every claim by hand and email you when the reward is confirmed.
  4. One reward per referred customer. A referred customer is someone who has never been an Edit Renders customer. Self-referrals, referrals within the same company and fake or duplicate accounts do not qualify.
  5. The render credit has no cash value, cannot be transferred and follows the same terms as purchased renders, including the 12-month validity.
  6. We may refuse or cancel rewards obtained through spam, misleading promotion, paid advertising on our brand name or any other abuse.
  7. We may change or end the programme at any time. Rewards already confirmed will be honoured.
